Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship Education, Mumbai
Hello. ..
Can you please mention the exam name which you wish to apply
hello thakur.
The cutoff for All India Quota which accepted CAT, CMAT, XAT and MAT exams was 99.95 for 2017–19 batch. Onwards, as per DTE rule only CAT and CMAT exams will be considered for All India Quota. So the cutoff might go till 99.93 for the last (this year 4th) round. But to be safe consider scoring 99.97+ Also the cutoff may rise if JBIMS opts out of DTE Cap rounds for 2018–20 batch. So i feel 99.98 can be considered as a safe score for CAT cutoff.
Thank You
No matter which college it is it always shows 2 things.
Highest package, Average package and the packages shows are generally CTC and not what you get in your hand.. for example you might have a salary of 50k per month so your package is 6lpa but the cost to company can be as high as 10lpa. So the first thing that you need to find out is that if the package is a real one or is it a CTC.
Moreover coming to average package, it is an average of all students which means some might have gone at 3 lakh and some might have gone for 15 lakh and even then the average might be somewhere around 10.
And now diving deeper into it. The general average of freshers is always going to be lower than the people who have Workex, how much lower? that depends from college to college.
All the above things are true for almost all the Business colleges.
So looking at the stats of placements will give you a flawed idea of what they stand for.
Instead try going for a better name that is recognized in the industry. Like IIMs NITIE NMIMS SIBM XLRI ISB etc.
Hope this answers your query.
All the best.

Hello Sooraj,
Yes SIMSREE Mumbai accepts MAT score. While you register for this college then they will ask you for your MAT details. The same applies for students applying through CAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT and MH CET. This college is exception due to its Returns on Investment.
Hope this will be helpful to you.
All the Best!
Hello Akash,The three colleges you mentioned are all good colleges. Good packages are offered by these colleges. However, IMT Ghaziabad can be considered the best among the three colleges.
Good Luck!
