As far I know no 10 + 2 level mathematics marks request for BA in economics.
If you are asking about MBA then i would suggest you to choose NMIMS over Symbiosis.
Actually if you compare bot these colleges then you will get to know that both these are at par but still NMIMS has a little edge over Symbi in Teaching department.
There are some issues regarding Hostels in NMIMS as it is limited and it follows first come first serve method.

To get admission in MIT in B.Des your daughter need to appear in Design Aptitude Test (DAT) conducted by the institute and to get admission in SID she has to appear in SEED entrance exam conducted by the institute and qualify in it. She cannot get admission in B.Des based on NIFT rank. NIFT rank can be used to get admission in any of NIFT campuses. You have not mentioned the category she belongs to but if 150 is her overall rank then she has decent chances of getting in NIFT in any of its campuses based on previous year cut off. Symbiosis School of Economics offers Bachelor or Science in Economics while Symbiosis College of arts and Commerce offers Bachelor of arts in Economics. Here it makes a big difference. So if you are asking about Ba economics then definitely Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce would be recommended. Even if we keep this BSc and BA thing, then also Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce would be best. This college has good faculties and placement is quite decent. Deloitte is one of the recruiters.

Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce is always a better college and recieved A+ grade by NAAC. It is autonomous and affiliated to Pune University while MIT WPU is now private university. Even the cut off of Symbiosis is high and admission for BA Economics are purely based on Merit
