Symbiosis Entrance Test
Hello,
With a cutoff of 135.5, your ward does have a fair chance of securing admission to a Mechanical Engineering course through the Single Window Admission System, especially if you're open to considering self-financed or rural engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. While top-tier government colleges usually require cutoffs above 190 for Open Category students, several colleges in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities accept students with cutoffs in the 130–160 range, particularly for those from reserved categories such as MBC, SC, or ST. The possibility of admission also improves based on the region and college preference, as some colleges in less competitive areas have slightly lower cutoff trends. If your ward belongs to a reserved category and you’re flexible with the choice of college location, there is a realistic chance of securing a seat in Mechanical Engineering.
Hope this helps. All the best!
With an AP EAMCET rank of 9,456, your chances of securing a Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) seat at Aditya Engineering College (AEC), Surampalem are promising, particularly if you belong to a reserved category. I will give you an idea of the cut-off.
In the first phase of AP EAMCET 2024 counseling, the cutoff ranks for CSE at AEC were as follows:
Given your rank of 9,456, you are within the cutoff for the OC category, indicating a strong possibility of admission to the CSE program at AEC.
First of all, congratulations for securing 93% in your 12th boards. It is a very good score!
Symbiosis Pune doesn't disclose their specific cut-offs but in previous years, programs at Symbiosis Pune have had cut-offs ranging from 76% to 79% for BA courses.
You have a strong academic profile as you have scored 93% but if your SET score is low, admission can be a little challenging. However, the personal interaction round will give you the scope to positively influence your admission prospects.

Dear aspirant,
The second set of exams is usually scheduled a few weeks after the first set of exams are done, so if the first exam is on 19th May, the second set might tentatively start from early to mid June. But you have to keep in mind that, this completely depends on which examination you're referring to and the authority or board organizing it. Different institutions and boards have different timelines, especially for competitive exams, university papers, or school board assessments. To get accurate dates, it's best to keep checking their official website or notifications issued by the concerned authority. Tentative schedules can change, so stay updated and keep studying.
Good luck!

Hi Student,
Thank you for reaching out!
The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) conducted by Symbiosis International University does not offer admission to veterinary courses like B.V.Sc (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) or related programs. SET is primarily for undergraduate courses such as BBA, BCA, BA, B.Sc., and B.Tech. Veterinary Science admissions in India are typically through NEET-UG, managed by the National Testing Agency (NTA), or state-specific exams like AP EAMCET or TS EAMCET.

All the best.
Thank you.

Based on your TS EAMCET rank of 69,000, the chances of getting a seat in CSE in Malla Reddy Engineering College (MREC) is probably less in general category. Usually the cutoffs are close around 14,000 to 58,000 depending on the campus.
But there a hope in reservef category (SC/ST/EWS).
