BCA+MCA: Integrated Course

Bachelor in Computer Applications or also called BCA is an extremely popular course among students in India. The course graduates are currently in high demand all over the IT sector.

Topics like Hardware Systems, Application Software, Computer Language and IT Management are taught to students through this course which helps them attain the right knowledge .

The MCA course salary on average ranges from INR 4.5 to 6.5 LPA. Average course fee of this integrated course is around INR 80,000 per year.

BCA+MCA: Course Duration

The duration of this undergraduate degree is 3 complete years where students get to learn various other skills and increase their expertise in the field of computer languages. The master’s program is a two year long course due to which, the total duration of this integrated course became 5 years.

BCA+MCA: Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility that is to be fulfilled by all students in order to attain admission in a university or college for the BCA+MCA integrated course is mentioned below. It is important to remember that the criteria mentioned is a general criteria which is expected by the majority or universities. While some universities may have their own specific criteria for eligibility under their discretion.

• The candidate has to complete their 10+2 with an aggregate of 50 percentile.
• The reserved category receives a 5 percentile relaxation for the same criteria.
• The candidate must have the following subjects in their 12 standard, which are mathematics, statistics, and information science/technology.

It is important to remember that the above mentioned criteria may be the basic requirement but the candidate would need to score higher than that in order to ensure a seat in a good university or college providing the course. Due to the huge competition.

The placements at Symbosis College are average across the all the branches. The computer science branch has the highest placement rate, at around 90-95 percent per year, despite other branches having around 30-40 percent placements. Last year, all computer science students were placed, while the number of students placed in other areas was cut to 10-15 out of 60. Microsoft's highest salary package for the 2020-21 year was 10-12 LPA. Many multinational companies visited the campus to offer placements, including Bombardier, Google, Microsoft, Voda-Idea, and others. CS students were recruited by approximately 25 companies.

Symbiosis releases three merit lists overall. As you mentioned that you have been waitlisted 47 in the 2nd merit list, so according to the previous year records there are very low chances that you would be able to clear the waitlist in third merit list. I would suggest you to keep other colleges in your back-up plan in case you do not clear this waitlist.

Hands down Symbiosis is one of the best management college in India and certainly better than Amity. Amity is good but its has no match with Symbiosis. Although both Amity and symbiosis are private colleges but admission in symbiosis is way more difficult than admission in amity and if you have a chance then go for Symbiosis.It has a huge infrastructure and unmatched facilities. For BBA, there are wide options of specializations to chose from in Symbiosis and some of them are level of MBA courses. It has wonderful placement record, almost 90% students get places. Given below is package of recent academic year. And companies that visit the campus are KPMG,Zomato, Wipro, Amazon,DeltaX,TCS, Tata motors,Social Best, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin klien etc.

Highest Package on campus - INR 8.2 LPA

Median Package on campus - INR 4.72 LPA

Average Package on campus - INR 5.15 LPA

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you as you have high chances of getting Symbiosis School of Economics as your waiting list number is 16. And depending the merit list it totally depends upon the number of seats that are vacant if seats are vacant then merit lists come there are no fixed number of merit lists.

Your waiting list 6 and yes, you have to chance to get admission there. Because number was very less. But the waitlist candidate means your admission depend on the previous candidates are leaving their seats then you get the chance. But if LLM students can't leave their seats or only two leave their seats then you can't get admission there. So I'll suggest you that check out others college also.

According to the previous year records, waiting list with 200 stands a very low chance to get cleared. It might decrease to 50 upto 3rd merit list, but has almost no chances to get cleared. I would suggest you to keep some other colleges as your backup plan , in case this list does not get cleared.

As per the previous year records you have decent chances to clear the waitlist for SICSR. Symbiosis releases at least three merit lists, if you have been waitlisted 16 under list 1 then there are good chances that it might decrease to 5-6 in list two and upto list three, you have good chances to clear the waitlist and get admission.

Similarly for SSLA (Liberal Arts), you have low chances to clear the waitlist at 50 as it is quite high as compared to SICSR, it might decrease to 10 in waitlist three but has less chances to get cleared.
