Hello Rittick,
Since you have given the XAT exam and your score is 25.1, I would like to tell you that there are chances that you might, not sure, but you might get a call.
The chances are slim because the colleges that you have mentioned above require a minimum of 90 percentile.
Still, hoping for the best, there is a chance you might get a call.
Heyy Abhijith....
With the XAT score of 30.5 you can definitely expect 90+ percentile. Yes, rest assured you will definitely get a call from TAPMI , Great Lakes and K J Somaiya as their expected cutoff for 2019 is somewhere between 80 - 85 for each of them.
Hi Tanishka,
There are 2 kinds of shortlisting that TAPMI follows, first is the Admission Academic Cut Off that requires a candidate to have scored 60% aggregate in Graduation and 60% marks in bothh Class X and XII. Second comes the Profile Based Shortlisting which is for applicants with a 2 year or above work experience. In this case they look at -
1. Valid CAT/XAT/ GMAT Scores (whichever is higher)
2. Academic Profile (10th, 12th, Graduation, backlogs during graduation etc)
3. Quality and Duration of work experience (type of company, total experience etc
4. Extra-Curricular Achievements if any.
Therefore, whether or not you get a call totally depends on how they screen your application, so do not worry.
And again, since it is not possible for anybody to predict your percentile accurately, I would suggest you to kindly wait for the result and then proceed. However, a very rough estimate can translate to a 84-86 percentile range for your raw score. Again, this is just a figure, I request you not to just rely on this.
Percentile cutoff wise TAPMI’s expected cutoff for XAT is 85. If you reach that then I am confident that you will get a call soon.
I hope this helped you, all the very best for your result.
Heyyy Swati....
