Congratulations on getting selected in both the premier colleges.

In my frank opinion, I hope You do select IIT roorkee instead of Manipal, as it is more recognised and more accpted.

TAPMI or TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal accepts only CAT/XAT/GMAT scores for shortlisting the candidates for Post-graduate Programmes in Management.PGCET score is not accepted.

One year gap will not effect in your selection procedure but during the interview they might ask the questions regarding this gap, At that time you need to give a meaningful explanation in front of the interviewer. If you are able to convience them with a valid reason then you can get admission there.

You should also have a valid score of the entrance exam of CAT, XAT or GMAT. You can check the further eligibility with the given below link.
