Hi, as per past year cutoffs, basis your rank, you can get through pvt colleges only. GCT coimbatore had around 50 cutoff last year for OC. All the best, check the different pvt colleges.

Based on previous year cutoff trend and considering your marks, if you belong to general category it will be tough for you to get admission in Anna University, but if you belong to the general category you can get admission.

What you need to understand is that, mechanical engineering and aeronautical engineering are two totally different domains. Aeronautical engineering and Aerospace engineering are associated with each other but not mechanical with aeronautical engineering.

So the syllabus for aeronautical engineering and Mechanical engineering would be very different from each
