You don't need to apply separately for mbbs and bds. One certificate is enough for both. You can use it for both mbbs and bds.

Hi aspirant, if candidates have qualified 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 45% aggregate marks. SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD category candidates should have obtained at least 40% aggregate marks. Now at this point it doesn't matter from which state the candidate belongs it doesn't matter at all.

According to the official NMC website there are a total of 56 medical colleges in Tamilnadu out of which 39 are government medical colleges.
These 39 colleges include 14 newly inducted colleges which will be inducted from this year.
