As you know cut off changes every year a nd hence it's difficult to predict the cut off of the college beforehand. The cut off depends on :

  • Number of candidates who appeared for NEET exam
  • NEET paper difficulty level
  • No.of seats available

But to be in a safer side,try to aim for 580+ ,as competition is rising every year

hi,

Admission to college of engineering, guindy is conduct via TNEA counselling. tnea i.e tamil nadu engineering admission held based on 12th score. as per 2019 , cutoff rank for college of engineering, guindy, computer science stream was
87 .  The exam authority will reduce the total marks to 200 to find the total marks to rank students. Maximum weightage will be from Mathematics. The rest will be shared by Physics and Chemistry as given below:

Physics + Chemistry =100

Mathematics =100

based on previous years analysis cutoff score for general candidates must be 190+ to secure cs in CEG, anna university campus.

If you want to get admission in to Engineering in a college in Tamil Nadu you need to apply for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA). The admission in to B.E/B.Tech is done through TNEA counselling. The eligibility criteria to apply for TNEA is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects with Any one of these subjects for vocational studies

  • General Machinist

  • Electrical Machines and Appliances

  • Electronic Equipments

  • Draughtsman Civil

  • Auto Mechanic

  • Textile Technology


Candidates belonging to general category need to score minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCM, for Backward Classes including Backward Class Muslim it is minimum 45% aggregate marks for MBC & DNC it is minimum 40% aggregate marks and for SC/SCA/ST it is minimum 40% aggregate marks. The upper age limit is 25 years.
