I got 14407 rank in AEEE 2020 will I get computer science engineering. if I have any chance in which campus can I get . I am from chennai(Tamil nadu)

Sharon Rose Student Expert 4th Sep, 2020

Hello,

It is difficult to predict the campuses in which you may get seat in Computer Science Engineering because the rank depends on 60% marks score in AEEE and 40% marks scored in PCM in class 12 but this was not the case in the year 2019 or before that the rank was based on marks score in AEEE alone. So the previous years cut off cannot be referred to predict the chances. Looking at your rank you may not get seat in CSE, the chances are less but you may get seat in other branches like ECE, Mechanical, Civil. However, cut off is subjected to change, It may increase or decrease slightly.

Am a Native of Tamil Nadu, but my daughter born TN but studied in Andhra. Is she applicable for TNEA. I saw the options in TNEA appln and none of the option under "Nativity" looks relevant. If I select Native Others, its giving only 3 options, studied, 8 to 12 in TN, Govt. emp which is not relevant

Sharon Rose Student Expert 26th Jul, 2020

Hello Madam,

Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu(Native) but passed class 8, class 9, class 10, class 11 and class 12 or its equivalent from an institute in other state are also eligible to apply for TNEA. You need to select nativity as native of Tamil Nadu and you need to provide a soft copy of original nativity certificate or an e-certificate digitally signed. If you do not provide proper nativity certificate then it will not be considered.

Hey! As per previous years records, there are chances for you to get electronics and communication engineering ECE and electronics and electrical engineering EEE. Also, you might get cse, but there are chances of getting waitlist.

Well, you must note that the criteria has been changes now, so there are chances  of any change in seat allotment criteria.

I want put my daughter in Fashion Technology as She completed 12STD in Chennai Tamil Nadu. She completed TN State Board Exam, 12th result announced, 75% above scored in all subject.. Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science and English. we need Career 360 guidance for her Career planning

Tushar Shende 25th Jul, 2020

Dear Parent,

You must ask to your daughter about her interest. What she want to do? What type of career she would like to choose?

Ask her first of all.

Your interest in particular field is not important, you must know your daughter's interested field to do career in.

Then ask her about Fashion Technology. If she likes then definitely go toward fashion technology.

If you want know more about careers after 12th, you can get here all the courses details:
