No , the cutoff marks and the normalized marks are not same. There is a big difference between them . The cutoff marks are your actual scores that you have got in exam but the normalized scores are calculated from your actual scores by usjng an appropriate formula. The normalized score for TANCET MBA is calculated using the formula 

40+ (10/S)(R-M)

where S is standard deviation i.e. variation of a student's score from  average score , R is raw marks (total marks obtained in three sections or the actual scores) , and M is mean marks ( total marks obtained in three sectiobs divided by 3).

Congratulations for your score. According to your rank, your score must range between 30 to 27. But unfortunately, the cut off required for KCT, Coimbatore for BC Category is 47. The TANCET MBA cut off for Sri Krishna College for BCM category is 31 in Round 1.

Anna University is having higher cut off than other colleges each year.You can get only if there is lower MBC cut off this year.Still the chances are less based on previous year cut off and trends.The cut may go lower this year.But,you will definitely get a good college as your rank is good enough.You can get colleges like University of Madras, Chepauk,Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering, Kancheepuram,Thiagarajar School of Management(Co-Ed), Madurai,Kumaraguru College of Technology, Chinnavedampatti Post, Coimbatore etc.So please hope for the best and don't worry.

Hey Adharsh! Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is conducted by Anna University for admissions to MTech/ MArch/ MPlan/ ME/MBA and MCA programmes offered by various colleges in Tamil Nadu.
