After 12th, you can either do Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (MLT) or Bachelors in Medical Lab Technology.A diploma is good for entry level jobs but for better job prospects a BSc would be good.Post completion of B. Sc in MLT, you can be hired by leading hospitals or pharmaceutical companies. It is a paramedical course which deals with the various technical aspects in the healthcare system.The eligiblity criteria for MLT is Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics in 12th with 50% aggregate.   • For B.Sc. and Para Medical Courses, candidates must pass 10+2 examination with minimum 50% marks in PCB subjects.
  • Selection of candidates in B.Sc. is done on the basis of merit in qualifying examination.
  • For B.Sc. Para-Medical courses, candidate have to appear for Combined
    Entrance Test (CET) .

Bsc Operation Technology is an undergraduate program with a duration of 3years.The minimum eligibility for this course is that the candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 50%.The subjects required are Physics, Chemistry and Biology.After graduation the candidates get placed in hospitals, health care centers, clinics, laboratories, colleges etc.Some of the colleges may conduct entrance exams.
