Sir in tsicet I am getting 66 marks is this score will able to get in good colleges

Akansha Sharma 2nd Dec, 2024

With 66 marks in TS ICET, your chances of securing admission in top-tier MBA colleges might be slim, as the cutoffs tend to be higher for renowned institutions like Osmania University or the Institute of Public Enterprise. However, you may still have opportunities in mid-tier colleges, especially those offering specializations like HR, Marketing, and Operations. It’s important to check the specific cutoff trends for each institution.

hello sir i got a seat for ts icet 32,000 rank can i get a seat in any college with mba in It specialisation category is bc d

monag2673 26th Jul, 2024

With a TS ICET rank of 32,000, securing a seat in a top-tier MBA program with IT specialization might be challenging, especially considering the BC-D category.

However, there's still a possibility of getting admission to a decent college. Factors influencing your chances include:

  • Specific college preferences: Some colleges might have lower cutoffs for specific specializations or categories.
  • Seat availability: The number of available seats in IT specialization for BC-D category will determine your chances.
  • Counseling process: Effective participation in the counseling process can increase your chances of securing a seat.

STEPS-

  1. Prepare a college list: Research colleges offering MBA in IT and their past cutoffs for your category.
  2. Understand seat matrix: Check the number of seats available for IT specialization under BC-D category in your preferred colleges.
  3. Participate actively in counseling: Be prepared with your choices and preferences during the counseling process.

It's advisable to explore other options like:

  • Private colleges: These might have different admission criteria and fee structures.
  • Distance or online MBA programs: If flexibility is a priority, consider these options.

Remember, competition is high, so thoroughly research and plan your admission strategy.

Hlo sor i got 56 marks in ts icet which college i prefer for mba

kumardurgesh1802 24th Sep, 2024

Hello there,

With 56 marks in TS ICET, your options for MBA colleges may be limited to institutions with lower cutoffs, particularly in private or regional colleges. Here are a few steps you can follow to choose the right college:

1. Check Previous Year Cutoffs:

  • Many top government and reputed private colleges have higher cutoffs, so it's essential to check the cutoffs from previous years. Colleges like Osmania University, Kakatiya University, and other reputed institutes may have higher cutoff marks.

    2. Target Private and Regional Colleges:

  • Consider applying to private and regional MBA colleges in Telangana that have lower cutoff requirements. Some of these colleges may still offer decent placements and facilities, even if they are not top-tier.

    3. Location and Facilities:

  • Look for colleges near your location or with facilities that suit your needs, such as industry exposure, faculty quality, and infrastructure.

    4. Consult Counseling Rounds:

  • Keep an eye on the TS ICET counseling rounds, as seat allotments might open up opportunities in colleges that fit your score. In later rounds, some colleges may lower their cutoffs.

    Recommendations:

  • Research the Placement Records : While considering colleges, ensure they have decent placement records, even if the cutoffs are lower.

  • Backup Options : Keep backup options ready for other management programs or private institutes that accept lower TS ICET scores.

In conclusion, while getting into top MBA colleges may be difficult with 56 marks, you still have options in private and regional colleges. Keep track of the counseling process for better clarity.
