Hello,

The eligibility criteria of TS LAWCET for three years LLB is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university securing 45% aggregate, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, final year students too are eligible to apply for the same, there is no upper age limit regarding this, hence you can definitely appear for TS LAWCET 3 Years LLB if you fulfill the eligibility criteria, once an official notification of this year comes out make sure you go through the stipulated time period as prescribed by the officials, and if you meet the same in terms of passing 10+2+3 educational qualifications from recognized board and university/aggregate as per your category, you can definitely apply for the same, you can visit our page at https://law.careers360.com/articles/ts-lawcet-eligibility-criteria to know more details regarding this.

You cannot pursue LLB in distance mode as it's not recognized by Bar Council of India, moreover law as a subject isn't about gaining theoretical concepts, there are practical applications as well.

When it comes to TS LAWCET, it's conducted for 90 minutes in MCQs format carrying 120 questions for 120 marks in English, Hindi and Telugu, there is no negative marking, go through the following recommendations for preparation of the same-

  • You can refer Lucent’s General Knowledge for General Knowledge,
  • You can refer A Modern Approach to Verbal & Non-verbal Reasoning for Mental Ability,
  • You can refer The Hindu or The Indian Express or magazines like Pratiyogita Darpan for current affairs,
  • You can refer A Complete Self Study Guide for LLB Entrance Exam for aptitude of law,

I secured admission in MSS law college by completing the fees and other formalities. However, if I wish to participate in the second round in anticipation of getting admission in another college, will i be able to participate? If yes, will my admission/fees paid to MSS law college be transferred?

Sohamsengupta8 31st Dec, 2021

Hello Student

As you have secured admission in MSS law College, kacheguda, Hyderabad, Telangana. And have paid the requisite fees for admission and counselling. IfYou change your decision and appear for the second counselling to change your college then the fees you have paid will not be transferred to other college admission purpose in in any way. This is the process of completing one College admission even though appearing for 2nd counselling to get another college.

Hope this will help.

hi, i got 6115 rank in TS LAWCET. seat not alloted in phase 1.Can i expect in phase 2(oc) not have EWS certificate. preferring to join in Anantha law college. Is it possoble. When will be phase 2 happened?

Sumedha Bhattacharya 18th Dec, 2021

Dear Ashwini ,

though you haven't mentioned your choice of course  i.e. whether it is 3 years LLB or  years LLB .. But , as per previous year TS LAWCET cut off details [last rank details] , you have low chances to get Anantha Law college .

As you are a female student, so I'm sharing the last year cut off for female category both in 3 year LLB and 5 year LLB courses :

[In OC category]

  • 4919( 3 year LLB)
  • 1303 (5 Years LLB)

You can check the cut off details from here too:

https://law.careers360.com/articles/ts-lawcet-cutoff

But , you need to remember that the cut off may vary each year due to some factors like seat matrix , difficulty level of exams etc.

Hope this helps !
