You have got an excellent rank in TS - EAMCET and the cutoff for MVSREC is pretty low. You can easily get a seat in this college not only in mechanical but in any other branch you want. The closing rank for Mechanical Branch for boys is 8387 and your rank is a lot high as compared to this. So, you can easily get into this college with your rank.

Now till today there hasn't been any official notification regarding change/edit of web options after submission of the same for TS-PGECET counselling. Better it should be taken that it can't be edited after the submission. In the counselling process, the seats will be first filled on the basis of GATE score followed by TS-PGECET ranks.

I am sorry to say but it is very difficult for you to get a seat. The cutoffs change every year due to the difficulty of paper and also the no of students appearing for the examination and also the no of students appearing for the counselling. But you can appear for the counselliing and try your luck as the cutoffs vary every year. Apply for colleges having higher rank cutoffs as the ones having low is vary hard nearly to impossible to get admission in. So apply for colleges having higher cutoffs. Hope for the best. Hope you get your desired college.
