Yes, you can still apply for the Telugu minority quota in Tamil Nadu counseling, even if you didn't tick that option during the All India registration.

The process for claiming minority quota benefits often involves separate applications or declarations that need to be submitted during the state-specific counseling process. While the exact procedure may vary slightly, you should be able to provide the necessary documentation to claim the Telugu minority quota during the Tamil Nadu counseling.

Here's what you generally need to do:

  1. Check the Tamil Nadu Counseling Guidelines: Review the official guidelines for the Tamil Nadu counseling process to understand the specific requirements for claiming minority quota benefits.
  2. Gather Necessary Documents: Prepare the required documents, such as proof of Telugu minority status, caste certificate (if applicable), and any other relevant documents.
  3. Submit the Documents: During the counseling process, there will likely be a specific window or form to claim minority quota benefits. Submit the necessary documents at that time.

It's important to act promptly and ensure that you meet all the eligibility criteria for the Telugu minority quota. Contact the Tamil Nadu counseling authorities if you have any questions or require further clarification.

if i get pass marks in telugu and i git 40 above marks in maths and science and English 60 marks and in social 40 what are my grade points

Ishita 19th Jul, 2024

Hello Aspirant

So your marks are as below

Telugu- 33 (as you said pass mark)

Math- 40

Science- 40

English- 60

Social Science- 40

Your Grade Point will be 33+40+40+60+40= 213

(213/500)*100= 42.6%

To convert this into CGPA, divide this by 9.5

42.6/9.5= 4.48 CGPA.

This is on the basis of your speculative marks, so you get marks around what you have mentioned, your grade point will be between 4.5 to 6 CGPA.

Hope this helps
