Textile Technology
Hi,
Textile Technology has a very small placement opportunities and the average salaries goes to around 6 to 8 lakhs per annum and that for the Marketing and Merchandising Sector.
A candidate with only Btech degree has a very little scope in the industry. And MBA degree would be better option with Btech for a good job in Textile Industry
I hope I was able to clear your query
Thank you

Hello Sreyanth,
The definition of free time differs from person to person. Not everyone thinks a like when it comes to it. Now, if you think free time as a source to prepare for other competitive examination, you'll sure get that time in departments like Textile Engineering, Printing Engineering, etc. You shouldn't worry about all those. All the best.
Hello Vishal,
Textile technology in IITD is not good as the name and fame of the institute. This branch is almost useless. Its very hard to get job after this and getting good marks is more difficult.
So it's advise for you that not to go for textile technology.
Good luck
