Hi, I passed 12th in 2014. Then started B.Tech in 2014 & completed in 2018. Since 2014, I have attempted NEET 7 times and have been filling the Qualifying exam Code as 02 in NEET application form. Should I still fill my qualifying exam code as 02 for NEET 2022 ?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 10th Apr, 2022

Hi

You need to choose the code 02 while filling neet 2022 application form

This is because,

Though you are have completed btech, your highest qualification with all the three subjects i. e physics chemistry and Biology/biotechnology remains your 10+2

While, those who have completed BSc with at least any two of physics chemistry and Biology in their bsc need to select code 6.

It doesn't matter at all even if you appeared in neet examination 7 times, because neither your qualification code nor eligibility for neet depends upon your number of neet attempts so nothing to worry.

Here's a short brief of Neet codes :-

-----------------------------) Code 1 :- code 1 is for class 12th board 2022 examination appearing students with physics, chemistry, biology and English or have have already appeared but results are awaited i. e have not been declared.

-----------------------------) Code 2 :- code 2 is for all those who have passed their 10+2/higher /senior secondary/ Indian School Certificate Examination with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English

-----------------------------) Code 3 :- code 3 says it is for those passed their intermediate / pre- degree examination  with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English ,your physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology should also contain practical exam.

-----------------------------) Code 4 :- pre - medical degree with Physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology after passing hsc i. e 10+2 or puc or equivalent.

-----------------------------) Code 5 :- code 5 is for all those who have passed  1 st year 3 year graduation with all the three of  Physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology

-----------------------------) Code 6 :- code 6 is for all those students who have passed  BSc  with at least any two of following subjects :-

>>>>Physics,

>>>>chemistry ,

>>>>biology/biotechnology

-----------------------------) Code 7 :- code 7 is for those who have passed their examination from foreign board which is equivalent of Indian 10+2 board.
