In the Academic year 2019 1,33,166 students applied for their xii board Examinations and registreterred for TNEA. Of the total number of applicants, 104,418 candidates participated in the documents verification process.
The number of candidates were lower than in 2018.in 2018 1.59 registrations were there.
Special Reservation in TNEA is only for the candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu. Separate authorities process application forms for TNEA 2020 (https://collegedunia.com/exams/tnea) first reservation. Candidates who wish to seek admission in Anna University may take note of the reservation quota for special categories
