what AICTE TFW?When to upload them in TNEA ? what are the roles of them in TNEA? how to avail them?

Tanya Gupta 23rd Aug, 2024

Hello,

AICTE's Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme is designed to support economically weaker students by waiving their tuition fees. In TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions), you need to upload the income certificate (with annual income below 8 lakh) during the application process. The TFW helps reduce financial burden, but students must cover other expenses like hostel and exam fees. To avail it, apply during TNEA counseling and meet the eligibility criteria.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

Is tnea allotment is being done only on the basis of general rank?? or community rank is also considered??

AKSHAYA.V.A. 11th Nov, 2020

Hello!

Allotment is completely based on general rank. This community rank is useful while choice filling and for reservation purpose. These community rank will help you in getting some good college, that is you have certain reservation for each and every category.

But let me tell you something that most of the reputed colleges will be occupied in the second round of counselling itself. ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was helpful.

Thank you

Neet2020 expected 486 gen TN is there any chance?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 27th Sep, 2020

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 486 marks you have chances for Government quota seats in following colleges under Tamilnadu State quota:-

  • Sree Moogambigai Institute of Medical Sciences, Kanyakumari
  • Sri Muthukumaram Medical College and Hospital
  • Tagore Medical College and Hospital, Chennai

To get the list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at
