Dear Aspirant,
I always feel very uncomfortable when Someone compares two completely dissimilar Branches and ask you to choose.
Please remember that what you are asking is a very personal choice and a preference that only you can decide.
If you like Software Development then choose CSE in average college.
Hence, if you are not at all bothered about what Branch you want to Study OR if you plan to do an MBA in the future (then your BE Branch automatically becomes irrelevant) then choose colleges in Karnataka
Choose wisely :-)
Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well.
According to KCET's databases of past year's cut-offs, you have a decent probability of getting an ECE branch through your rank in the 2A category at the following colleges:
But always keep in mind that these cutoffs may change every year depending on a variety of factors, such as:
Seats Available
The hardness of the test
No students showed up, etc.
You can use this KCET college predictor website to learn more about the colleges:

I hope this helps.
Good Luck
