What was lowest cut off last year for admission in bsc microbiology and biotechnology for non Maharashtra in Ferguson college pune

Animesh Vats Student Expert 15th Mar, 2020

Hi,

Well as far as I remember that the two courses micro biology and biotechnology are very much in-demand and that is why the cut off was about 90% greater and the ones scoring more than that stood a bit chance to get a seat.

I hope my answer helps.

All the best.

Hey,

Your question isn't clear at all as you haven't mentioned your all India rank here and Category as well. Moreover there is no college named "your college".

You can check from the College predictor by entering your AIR and see the probable colleges you might get admission in.

I got 88.4%marks in class 12th Arts from CBSE,Can I get easily admission in Ferguson college,Pune for BA History Hons.

Divyyanaa Hazarika 4th Jun, 2019

Hello Aspirant,

It seems like you are curious about your admissions. Fergusson College is a very esteemed colleges and every year many students rush there to get their seats.

The procedure of admission in Fergusson's is different from that of mainstream DU, etc. A student is not given his / her major subject at the time of the admission. It is assihass or given to select after completing first year i.e. you will get your honours in 2nd year of your undergraduate degree. If you belong to the general category, it's safer to opt if you have 90% or above. Otherwise, if you belong to ST,SC, OBC, etc. you can land up a seat even with 75%. I hope this information helps you. Good luck!

Ritvik 4th Jun, 2019

The cutoff for CSE branch in Modern College, Pune is very high. So, it will be difficult for you to get admission because 20 percentile is very low. But you can still try for other private universities in Pune. Good Luck!
