My merit list number is 580, will I get admission in BA LLB in Bharati Vidyapeeth law college Pune.

Minshul Gupta 5th Jul, 2018

As per the cut off of bvp cet law BA LLB 3 years , that is 180 , and you rank is 340, so may be you will not get seat in bvp llb 3 years. as your rank is higher tha the cut off. as i am considering you  as the general category candidate because you have not mentioned anything regarding your category. adn the chances are less of getting admission in bvp for 3 years llb, but you may get admission on the basis of mangement qouta. you can grant 100% seat over there through this qouta. in case if you may not get seat on merit basis. I hope this information helps you. all the best have a great future ahead.

compare christ university, symbiosis pune, symbiosis noida and bharati vidyapeeth new law college pune

Anonymous 12th May, 2018

Symbiosis, but only the Pune branch. It has wider options in terms of course selection, more liberal class structure and a stronger alumni network.
Pune is a student hub, so the overall culture is really laid back and easy to enjoy. Symbi also has it's own hostels, where as Christ has limited facility, so if you're not from Bangalore, that would be an issue in terms of safety and comfort.

Placements are relatively similar, both colleges having a large batch size. Cost of living in both cities is around the same, but the set back of SLS is that the fee structure is quite expensive, almost twice the fees of Christ.

Suggestion:

Symbiosis Pune should be chosen.

now coming to symbiosis Pune VS BVP

It depends.

If you are applying for MBA then symbiosis is any day a better choice.

But if you are planning to do BTech. Or MBBS then BVP is the better option.

BBA LLB or BA LLB is equivalent in both the colleges.

FinAL SUGGESTION : CHOOSE THE COLLEGE ACCORDING TO YOUR REQUIREMENTS NOT OTHERS SUGGESTION.

Hope this helps.

Which of the IBS colleges is best for MBA?? What should be my preference MBA, PGDM, or PGPM?

Nishant Lamba 14th Nov, 2017

Being an alumnus of IBS Hyderabad, I will share my opinion. Not all IBS campuses are good and IBS Hyderabad varies with all others hugely in terms of Fee Structure. 6.25 per annum tuition fee and the whole course will cost you more than 15 lakhs (Including hostel, food and average personal expenses). Another point where Hyderabad campus is different is the campus. The campus is located away from the city in 97 acres of green lushed land and believe me, it's beautiful. Talking about Placements then with a batch size of 1000+, IBS has the potential to get you placed. Companies offering packages from 3.5 lakhs to 48 lakhs (International), you will have an opportunity to grab a great job there. But what I feel where other campuses have an edge is the ROI. Fee differs hugely between Hyderbad and other campuses. If I'm not wrong it's 40-50% lesser than the main campus. Average package of Hyderabad is around 6.75 whereas, for Mumbai, Pune and Gurgaon campuses varies from 5.5-6.25 Lakhs. ROI plays a major role here. It's completely your choice. There can be only 2 points in favor of other campuses than Hyderabad.

  • ROI
  • Location, if you are not willing to go Hyderabad for MBA.

Choosing Hyderabad campus may have few advantages as:

  • Better Brand Value compared to other campuses.
  • MBA degree rather than a PGDM (You can get an MBA from Dehradun campus by taking an exam, contact officials to know more about this)
  • Living in Gurgaon campus will have the majority of NCR or north Indian students but Hyderabad will have students from all the states of the country which makes it a diversified campus to live.
  • Extra Curriculum activities is a highlighting and a great learning factor in Hyderabad campus as there are more than 30 clubs and after classes, students work till midnight for their clubs, events, guest lectures, competitions and yes, also, parties.
  • Few common companies visit different IBS campuses and I have seen they offer slightly higher packages to Hyderabad students.

For industry, PGDM/PGPM is equivalent to an MBA. Even IIMs doesn't give an MBA degree. MBA matters when you have plans to pursue fellowship/Doctorate in future or want to give some competitive exams which ask for a masters degree to make you eligible. Rest, Industry values PDGM/PGPM almost equivalent to an MBA.

So, at the end, if ROI matters a lot to you, go for Mumbai>Pune>Gurgaon campuses, if not then Hyderabad will give you a lifelong learning experience.

You can also look for NMIMS Hyderabad, IMT Hyderabad as they are good brand names and an amazing ROI they can give.

But if you can score pretty good in CAT, SNAP, NMAT, XAT, then go for IIMs, NMIMS Mumbai, XLRI, SIBM, SCMHRD, MDI G, IMT G, IMI D etc.
