Considering the previous year trends there is a good possibility that a 9th cut off list would be out. As of yet there is no notification as far as the tentative or final date for the release of cut off list is concerned. Merit based admission is only applicable to candidates who have graduated from colleges of Delhi University.

The syllabus for English literature, 1st year Delhi University includes two main papers in each semester 1st semester-European Literature and Classical Indian literature, 2nd semester-British literature 14th to 17th centuries and Indian writing in English. DU officials were supposed to release 8th cutoff last week but till now there has been no announcement.
There is no official notice on the site about the release date of 8th cutoff.
Although the chances of releasing 8th cutoff is high since they usually release 9-10 cutoffs every year.

Also, they will surely release a notification before the announcement of 8th cutoff.
