Sania Shahidi 24th Jun, 2019
Hello!
Yes,  vocational courses are good to pursue. They are worth to study. It helps in enhancing your skill and to gain practical knowledge. The scope of vocational courses have been increasing and various opportunities are available in India and outside India.
College of vocational studies offers various vocational courses in Delhi University. Some of them are:-
  • BA TOURISM MANAGEMENT
  • BA MATERIAL MANAGEMENT
  • BA HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
  • BA SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES
There are some colleges which  offer vocational courses in DU such as
  • Maharaja Agrasen college offers Advance Diploma in TV and programme
  • Ramanujan college offers B. Voc in finance, banking and insurance.
As your best four is 85.5, it's tough to get admission if belongs to general category. Rest depends on the cutoff, if cutoff gets lower it will be easier. Generally cutoff goes around 90.

Will there be separate cut offs for ews category students in delhi university ??

Deepshikha Student Expert 24th Jun, 2019
Hey,
There will be no separate cutoff list for the students belonging to economically weaker section. EWS students will have the same eligibility criteria as students from Unreserved category. The EWS students are only entitled to fee concession. The aforementioned information is cited in the admission bulletin of the University of Delhi.
Though initially the varsity announced that there will be separate cutoff for economically weaker section but at the 'Open Day' organised in the Delhi University's Rajdhani College,it was made clear that there will not be any separate cutoff for EWS students.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.

I have got 80.6% in class 12th by commerce stream can I get admission in delhi university with political science

Raashi Kohli 24th Jun, 2019

Hi, the cut offs for DU colleges in arts stream is always quite high, especially for 1st tier colleges because of the courses being in high demand i.e huge numbers of aspirants applying for the course from all over India. With 80.6% your chances are quite less and after applying for a stream change(commerce to arts) further 2.5% will be deducted from your best of four percentage. So, unfortunately it will be every difficult for you get admission.

Good Luck

The Exam will be for 2hrs. There will be Multiple choice questions. For each correct answer, the candidate will be rewarded 4 marks and for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

your chances are slightly less as fof most of the colleges the cut off for general category is more than 85%. But your percentage is quite close to that so you might get admission in some of the colleges like sham lal evening college, zakir hussain college, etc.
