Vedant Vibhor 31st May, 2019

Hi Reetika,

Calculation of best four score is different for each course and some subjects don't even consider four subjects. I'm giving you this link to an information bulletin that contains all details of how to calculate best four for different courses.

Sir, I hadnt taken maths in Std.12th .Can I apply for BTech in biotechnology in Delhi University.

Pooja Kumari 31st May, 2019
Hello Archi,
As you must be knowing that Delhi University demands the percentage of best four, including one language subject, aggregate of three major subjects are taken into consideration for subjects like b.sc and b.tech that should include physics, chemistry, maths/ biology. If you don't have either maths or bio, you will have to face a deduction of about 2.5 % of your total percentage.
Hope that helps!:)

Please Suggest low cut off colleges of delhi university for bcom??

snehasinha1718 Student Expert 31st May, 2019
Hey Aditya,
Since the percentage of du colleges differ accordingly and also according to the category you belong. If you belong to any of the reserved category (ST/SC/OBC) then you easily get admission in good colleges of du as well. Also, it depends on the courses you are willing to chose.
Well i may specify with some colleges with their respective cutoffs it usually goes:

80%-81%

1)Aryabhatta College - B.A. in Hindi (H)
2)PGDAV College - B.A. in Hindi (H)
3)Zakir Husain Delhi College (Evening) - B.A. Programme
4)Rajdhani College - B.A. in Hindi (H)
5)Dyal Singh College - B.A. in Hindi (H) and B.A. in Urdu (H)
6)Janki Devi Memorial College - B.A. in Hindi (H)
7)Shaheed Bhagat Singh College - B.A. in Hindi (H)
8)Sri Aurobindo College (Day) - B.A. in Hindi (H)
9)College of Vocational Studies - B.A. in Hindi (H)
10)Kalindi College - B.A. in Hindi (H)
11)Mata Sundari College for Women - B.A. in Philosophy (H)

But as i said it differs fot people belonging to reserved category and for general category and also their preferred courses. For reserved category it may reduce further.

Hope this works for you.
Good luck.

can karate come under sports quota for delhi university bsc courses?

Shyam Vs 31st May, 2019

Dear Ammna,

Delhi University is one of the few univversities in the country which accept commendable achievement in sports in state, national and international levels. Marks are alloted based on the number and level of achievement a student has made. A no. of sports are included in the list, but unfortunately, karate is not included as a sport in their list as people practice karate as a martial art rather than a sport.
