Top University Delhi
Hi, in order to seek admission in this course you must pass your 10+2 examinations and secure 55% or more in an aggregate of 3 subjects i.e physics/chemistry/biology/bio technology and you must pass in one compulsory language i.e english with 50% marks. Admission is merit based for this course.
Last year the cut offfs started around 95% and the lowest they reached for general category was 89% so unfortunately your admission seems quite dicy.
you can look for other colleges as back up in case it seems that its getting difficult to seek admission in DU. Good luck

Hello Swati, Bsc in botany from DU required you to secure at least a minimum 55% marks in the aggregate of subjects, Biology or Biotechnology, Physics and Chemistry, and 50% marks in English. This is the most basic criteria that you need to satisfy in order to apply for this course in DU. Also, you need to have passed your 12th from a recognizable board in the country. Selection is merit-based and the selection is made on the basis of merit of marks in the aggregate of three mentioned science subjects.
Hey Swati,
There will be an only registration for Delhi University. If you wish the study there please keep yourself updated with the site du.ac.in
During the registration process you'll be asked for various necessary details and the courses you wish to select as well. Once the registration is done, you'll be asked to pay the registration fees and you're all set for the counseling round.
During the counseling round, Delhi University will keep posting cut offs based on the overall result and number of applicants. Since, you want to take B.Sc Botany, you have to check it's cut-off for respective college. If your marks are above the cut off then immediately rush for the form submission in the respective college.
PS: For all the B.Sc Programmes they take your three main subjects' marks i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology in your case.
Hope this helps, good luck!
