There are number of universities offering a Bachelors in Music in Hindustani classical asd Carnatic Classical. A few of them are 1. Banaras Hindu University has a Faculty of Performing Arts with depts in Vocal Music, Instrumental, Dance and Musicology. 2. Bhartiar Palkalaikoodam, Bhartiar Center for Performing and Visual Arts offers a three year degree in Vocal, Veena, Mridangam and Violin. 3. Banasthali University, offers BA, MA, M.Phil in Music and Dance. 4. I would suggest you to give NIMCET exam as this is a naional level test for NITs so this would be best option. Apart from it, there are other options also like IIT-JAM, BIT MCA, IPUCET MCA, JNU MCA, Pune University MCA, West Bengal- JOINT ENTRANCE EXAM MCA (WB-JECA) and at college level there will be many choices so kindly be specific in which university/college/exam you are interested so that I can help you with the further procedure.
