I am expecting to score 80% in 12th board...can i get B.A Eng. hons. at mumbai university??

Ishika Mishra 14th Apr, 2019
The official cutoffs for colleges affiliated to Mumbai University aren't released yet, the cutoffs will probably be release after the board results. If we look at previous year records the chances of getting admission in BA Hons are low, as the minimum cutoff for only is around 83-83%. Though the cutoffs may change this year let's hope for the best.
Thank you.

Can I apply for Mumbai University M.sc course if my b.sc result ( other University) is not declare ?

Pratyusha Tripathy 24th May, 2019

Hello Rounak,

I don't think you can apply for M.sc. in Mumbai University or any other university without your b.sc marks.

As you know every university follows a process for admission in new courses. They have cutoff and some minimum marks for applying to a course. You will be needing ur marks in b.sc at those times. Yet again exceptions are always there

Hope this helps.

Answering your question-
BCOM honours from Christ university is definitely better than BCom from Mumbai university as from Christ university the placements are bettter.
According to the website average package is 6 lakhs ,starts from 3 lakhs and ends at 12.5 lakhs which is a decent amount for a b. Degree graduate.

Also the selection procedure of Christ University BCOM honours  starts after the written entrance test. The Christ University BCOM honours selection procedure consist of three stages-

What are the dates regarding the entrance test registration in mumbai university and also want to know the cutt off?

Kritika Gupta 29th Apr, 2019

Hello Navjot,

Mumbai University does not conduct any entrance examination for UG and PG courses other than LLB. Admission to engineering courses occur through JEE Mains and medical courses through NEET.

The university will release its application form on the last week of May and it will available till the 2nd week of June.  After this they will release the pre admission enrollment form on the first or second week of June which needs to be submitted with the application form by the second week of June. The merit list will be out by the 4th week of June.

Various universities come under Mumbai University and cut off varies according to subject so I cannot give you a specific answer about the cut off here. But you can check out subject wise and institution wise cut off/merit list of Mumbai University for the year 2018, here:  https://university.careers360.com/articles/mumbai-university-second-merit-list

Hope this helps :)
