Yes it is ofcourse harder in Mumbai University as it is way better than WBUT( now MAKAUT) in all aspects starting from placement, campus life, faculty, etc.

Definitely MU is harder than WBUT for a simple reason that is, its standard. MU has good faculty, student crowd and placements if compared to WBUT. The level of MU's exams are also high so its a bit difficult to score good marks.
