Maeer mit world peace university pune good for mba

Aman Yadav 9th May, 2019

Greetings Abhinav!

Hope you're doing great.

MAEER's Maharashtra Institute of Technology is a premier institute for Engineering as well as for an MBA. Every year students pass out from the college with decent packages and it's growing day by day. Let's dig into the details: The institute offers 2 year MBA course in several streams such as HR, Marketing, Finance, Operations etc. It follows a trimester curriculum which is very common among top b-school in India. The placement cell is very proactive and makes sure that every student gets placed at the end of the course. The course fee is comparatively less compared to many b-school and hence in term of ROI, it's a decent college. The syllabus and the exams are highly competitive and the quality is top notch. The institute gives importance to student-teacher interaction and hence the faculty is called from several tier-1 b-school of India. The Institute conducts regular guest lectures to make students understand the requirement and competition in the market. The curriculum is designed in a way that meets the best industrial practice followed by compulsory summer internships.

Let's talk about the campus, the Institute is huge and located at the centre of the Pune. The lush green ground attracts student from all over the country. The library at MIT is one the oldest and best in the state. When it comes to placements several big firms visit the campus and offered handsome packages. However, if you're aiming for the salary equivalent to tier-1 colleges then it will not the scene. According to reports, 80-90% of the total students get placed with an average salary of 4-8 lacs per annum. Which is still pretty decent compared to tier-2 colleges.

For admission, you can give MHT-CET exam which is conducted every year. The admission is done on the basis of merit and marks obtained through this test. The institute is autonomous and hence the degree is offered by MITWPU as a deemed university. For more details regarding the college follow this link: https://bschool.careers360.com/colleges/mit-college-of-management-pune

All in all, it's a decent b-school. Hope this will resolve all your queries. Do reach out in the comment section below for more details.
