Hey Mrinal,
DTE Maharashtra has declared the MBA CET 2019 results. All the candidates who meet the MAH CET cutoff 2019 will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. 51.81 percentile in MBA CET translates to 53 marks. The previous year cutoffs of MIT World Peace University, Pune has been around 75-80 marks in MBA CET. So, it would be difficult for you.
Good Luck.
Hello,
NITs being tier 1 colleges always have an edge over the other colleges. And when it comes to placements many good recruiters visit NITs to pick up technical students which also arises good chances for MCA students as well. And to get into NITs for MCA you need appear in an entrance test know as NIMCET and perform well in it.
Now coming to BITs, BIT Mesra offers MCA courses and it is also another good option due to its brand value. You can get a placement easily. Academics will be more focused on theory. In most of the cases, professors will be the same for CSE(engineering) and MCA. So, you will get equal opportunities in case knowledge and placement as well.
MIT and Pune university both are good too in their own ways. Pune university is better when it comes to placements especially if you are a part of its main campus. The M.Tech(CSE), M.Sc CS and the MCA students sit together for placements.
Finally, if you are hardworking and smart you can get the best outputs regardless of the college.
Hope it helps!
All the best.
Hi Mrinal,
Your score in MAH CET 51.81 percentile is little lower. Also MIT peace University has minimum number of seat. I would suggest you to give an another attempt for exam next year with full preparation. As post graduation is the last study course for most the people so it's better to target good colleges. Try giving other management exams as well like CAT/XAT/NMAT/CMAT.
Always keep a backup of colleges and try to target on the top 10 colleges of management.
wish you good luck.
Ajeenkya DY patil university, Pune is a good college in terms of academics. It provides many facilities to their students and considered best for mechanical engineering.
As far as placement is concerned, it provides a good placement too. It is tied up with International Universities so it provides many opportunities to its students.
