Yes of course, both are work of public relations but in different fields viz. first is in event management and other one is in tourism industry.

So if we talk about public relations in any field it is very important for your advertising, branding and expanding/promoting your work. Above three aspects are very important aspects while establishing any industry or start up.

Public relation is equally important in both the fields whether it is event management or it is tourism industry but works will be different according to the demands of field.

If you want to be involved professionally in Travel and Tourism industry than you should clear certain eligibility criteria for MBA in Travel and tourism which includes :-

  • A candidate must have a bachelor's degree from any recognized university.
  • Candidate must have a minimum aggregate score of 50% in their degree exam.
  • Candidate has to appear for the MBA college's qualifying entrance exam.

If you have done B.Com. in tourism than it will also make some ease for you to setup this tourism industry for you. After the present critical scenario tourism industry needs to be revolutionised so it is excellent time to start career in it with some innovative ideas.

The eligibility criteria for MBA in Travel and tourism includes that:-

  • A candidate must have a bachelor's degree from any recognized university
  • Candidate must have a minimum aggregate score of 50% in their degree exam
  • Candidate has to appear for the MBA college's qualifying entrance exam

So to answer your question, yes you can complete your MBA in Travel and tourism after your BBA

Well, this depends on your area of interest. After your MBA in hospitality, you will get jobs in hospital administration whereas in case of Masters in hospitality and tourism, you will get exposure to hospitality and tourism of the country.
