suchayitaanusaha 12th May, 2021

Hello,

EBC and EWS both are economical weaker sections category. The main difference between this two that EWS is basically general category student certificate for all over India and EBC mainly caste category student certificate according to state. So no one can use EWS and EBC both certificate.

And this certificate apply for only those candidates who's parents income 8lakh per annum or less than that. Otherwise can't get this certificate.

Can I get full fee reimbursement if I have minority certificate ? #TSEamcet #Feereiumbursement

Sharon Rose Student Expert 4th May, 2021

Hello,

Having minority certificate is not just enough. To be eligible to get fee reimbursement (for candidates belonging to BC/EBC/Minority) the family's annual income must be less than Rs. 1,50,000 (for family living in rural areas) or less than Rs. 2,00,000 (for family living in urban areas). So if you fulfill the eligibility criteria you need to obtain the income certificate issued by a competent authority. You need to apply in the TS ePass portal and submit the required documents in the college you get admission. You need to maintain minimum 75% attendence and you need to get admission under convener quota to be eligible to get fee reimbursement.

I got 80 marks in tseamcet and 390 in ipe what would be my rank?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 7th Apr, 2021

Hello,

It is quite difficult to predict the rank as it depends on total number of candidates appeared, highest mark scored by a candidate in the exam, normalized score, tie breakers etc. Analyzing the past years mark vs rank trend you may expect a around 30000. The predicted rank and the final rank after the result may vary.

I had finished my b.tech first year at a college in 2019-20 with tsepass reimbursement, but the college has no sufficient faculty and amenities. So, I rewrote tseamcet in 2020 and joined an another college, now how can I get tsepass reimbursement to my new college??

Sharon Rose Student Expert 29th Nov, 2020

Hello,

To answer your query we need to know your category, annual family income and the seat allotment status. If the payable tuition fee mentioned in the seat allotment order is given as zero then you are eligible for fee reimbursement as per the government norms but if any amount that you should pay towards tuition fee is mentioned in the seat allotment order then you cannot avail fee reimbursement.

Hlo! I got 6306 rank in tseamcet and alloted seat in cmr college but I got only 30000 fee reimbursement...how to get full fee reimbursement( and got fee reimbursement eligibility-yes)

sangam.nandhini 9th Sep, 2021

Hello,

The amount that will be paid by government under fee reimbursement in btech colleges through EAMCET is mainly based on rank and caste. To be precise, more on caste. You will be eligible for reimbursement if you fall under the cut off category of the college. Minorities and SC/ST candidates are the ones who usually get the full fee reimbursement. The other categories generally get it of 30000 only. there is nothing which we can do.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
