Greetings!

Hello Tushar! If you're doing a bachelor's degree through distance learning (ODL) at Chandigarh University, you can still be eligible to study abroad. Many universities abroad accept students with distance education qualifications. However, it's crucial to check the specific admission requirements of the universities and countries you are interested in. Some institutions may have certain criteria or additional steps for applicants with distance learning degrees. Ensure your program is recognized and accredited, and consider taking any required standardized tests like IELTS or TOEFL for language proficiency. Additionally, focus on maintaining a strong academic record and highlighting your skills and achievements when applying. Researching and adhering to the admission guidelines of the universities you're interested in will help you plan for a successful study abroad journey.

Sir/Madam, I have secured 580 marks, residng at Kolkata, West Bengal. May I get MBBS seat in Government College within West Bengal. Tushar Shubhra Raha

Hi

You have not mentioned your category so I am assuming you from general category

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 580 marks   you hold a good chance to get a seat in a Government Medical College

For example,
In Neet 2019, 518 marks for general category was the cut off marks to get a seat in Government Medical College  under west Bengal state quotaand it was for COOCHBEHAR GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL

With your 580 marks you also chances in following Government Medical College under West Bengal State quota:-

*COLLEGE OF MEDICINE AND JNM HOSPITAL, KALYANI

.

*DIAMOND HARBOUR GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL

.

*Bankura Sammilani Medical College, Bankura

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year  due to   many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in   which you have to chances and
to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

You can either register through your school if it has been registered or you can register on your own. Schools will start registering themselves for PRMO tentatively from the month of June. So you need to check if your School has been registered or not. Based on that, you can either register through your school or individually. At this point in time, you need to wait for official notification for the registration process to start.
