hello sir, I belong to sc category, in NEET UG scorecard which rank should I consider for getting admission to UG courses whether ALL INDIA RANK OR CATEGORY RANK

Isha Sheikh 25th Nov, 2021

Hi,

As per government regulations, 15% of the seats in NEET UG are reserved for the candidates belonging to the SC category.

If you are applying for the All India Quota (AIQ) then only your All India Rank (AIR) will be considered, and not your category rank. The state-wise cut-off for reserved categories for 2021 counselling has not been released yet.

All the best!

hello, sir/madam does category ranking in neet ug matters for admission to ug courses .

Subhrajit Mukherjee 2nd Nov, 2021

If you don't get a seat on the basis of your General rank then you can get a chance to get a seat based on your category rank. So if you have slightly moderate rankings then if you have good category rank then you will get a chance to get a seat through NEET UG counselling in any medical college of your choice.

hello. I have given CUCET 2021 exam for UG courses and my marks is 130/400 and I am a SC candidate which colleges can I get in cucet and how to appear in the counselling. what is the cutoff of all universities?

SARTHAK VERMA 29th Oct, 2021

Hi there!

After getting your scorecard, you can appear in the counseling process of all the participating central universities which take admission on the basis of CUCET merit. You can find the details of the counseling schedule and cutoff lists on the individual official websites of the various universities. Keep an eye on the websites regularly and register for the counseling process. As per your score, you will be allotted a central university. Most of the universities will have online counseling this year as well.Hope for the best.

Good luck to you!
