I had completed my 12th from BSEB with commerce stream. I am in final year of my graduation. I had done (B.Voc.) Bachelor in Vocation (which is approved degree from UGC) in the specialisation of IT & Networking. Am I eligible for post graduate MCA program. If yes. Please suggest me the colleges

Hello,

The basic eligibility criteria for admission in Master's in Computer Application course is to have aBachelor's degree in computer application (BCA) or in any related field with mathematics as a compulsory subject in Class 12. If you had studied any subject of computer or mathematics then you can do MCA but going through course what you have mentioned, although B.Voc is approved by UGC, there are many universities that won't allow you to take admission in MCA as they generally prefer BCA, B.Com or B.Sc graduate.
But you can do it through distance mode with institutions like IGNOU.

I hope this helps.

Techno India is AICTE regonized that means that any student studying any course in the college is recognized by Government Of India this means that you will be eligible to give GATE examination without any problems and there are no such rules in GATE also regarding the recognition of the college.

The education qualification required for GATE:

  • Candidates must have passed graduation in engineering/technology or Master’s degree in any relevant science subject.
  • Candidates in pre-final or final year of their qualifying degree also eligible to appear for GATE 2022

Hi, Integrated M.tech Software Engineering course 5 year in VIT course is recognized by ugc?

Anurag Khanna 23rd Aug, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See very first thing I would like to explain you that M.Tech comes under the list of professional courses in technical field and UGC does not have to do anything with such courses so such professional courses in technical field are authorized and regulated by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Secondly, VIT Vellore does not offer M.Tech. in Software Engineering but yes it does offer M.Tech integrated  in Software engineering, you can check out the complete list of courses offered by VIT Vellore from the link given below :-

https://vit.ac.in/programmes-offered-2021-22

Now all the M.Tech courses in CSE  as well as M.Tech integrated course in Software engineering offered in VIT Vellore are AICTE Approved so not to worry about any fallacy.

You can check out complete details about each course offered in VIT Vellore from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

if University is aiect approved but not ugc then we go with international study with this University

Nikita 29th Jul, 2021

Greetings,

It is not the criteria that you need UGC degree only to study your desired course from foreign universities. AICTE approval makes your degree valid throughout the nation and abroad and you can take admission in any international university with AICTE approved degree and that will not cause any problem to you.

Regards.

Is dual degree valid in 2021 as per UGC

chandni deb 11th Jul, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

as of currently the UGC does not recognize or approve of pursuing dual degrees at the same time during the same academic year. Hence until the dual degrees are recognized by the UGC, these degrees conferred by the universities cannot be construed as per the provisions of the UGC Act.
