what if my university is ugc approved for b pharma

Sohamsengupta8 29th May, 2020

Hello student,

Aishwarya you haven't mention your college name it is quite impossible tell you that the colleges UGC approved or not. UGC stands for University grant commission, which provides reorganization to the universities in India and this versus funds to search recognised universities also. You should go to your college official website to check if that this is ugc granted or not.

Sir..I have done my Diploma in civil from OPJS University, Rajasthan( in campus). And it is UGC approved. Is it necessary for AICTE approval for any State or Central Govt. Jobs ? Please reply..

Anurag Khanna 15th Jun, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

There are some of the polytechnic or diploma colleges which are affiliated by AICTE, now as your University is affiliated by UGC , which is also satisfactory, however it also depends on the organization or recruitment criteria , if it mentioned that AICTE approval than it is necessary, then you may not eligible to apply.

Now coming to central government jobs, according to the the eligibility criteria for SSC JE for diploma holders, where it requires candidates must pass diploma course from a recognized institute, so since there is no mention of AICTE, you can apply for that.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
