sir those students who are studying ug under ugc recognised university they are eligible for icar aieea pg exam?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 29th Jan, 2020
Hello,
You need to worry.UGC is a recognised board so your degree will be valid. And you can apply for ICAR AIEEA PG2020.The eligibility criteria for PG programs is that a candidate must have passed 3 years of Bachelor's degree with atleast 50% aggregate (candidates belonging to general category and OBC) and with atleast 40% aggregate (candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD) from a recognised board or university.

So if you have fulfilled the minimum aggregate requirement and education qualification then you can apply for it.

Is there any vacancy for assistant professor or Ad hoc professor in commerce as I cleared UGC NET, and also vacancy for Ph. d in commerce? please reply soon.

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 20th Dec, 2019

Hello Sir,

This is a online platform for candidates to help in their career related queries. There is no position open for teaching. You can look for college webpages and in the career section you can get to know what are the positions open.

If you find any one interesting to you , then you can apply for it. first you have to look for colleges which will be suitable for you as you will visit the college daily if you get selected. So Find the colleges which will be suitablle for you. Then look for openings in the careers webpage of the colleges or universities.

Hope it helps!

Sanjanaleekha 20th Dec, 2019

Hi there,

You have not specified the university in which you want to take admission but generally you will not have a problem in securing admission provided you clear the entrance exam of the university, i would suggest you to check the eligibility  criteria of the university you want to take admission in, in Delhi University for MA in Pol Science you can take admission provided you have scored an aggregate  of 60% above in your BTech, post this you will need to qualify the university entrance exam.

if i get 120 marks in ugc net but not reach to the cut off so can i eligible to have admission in college

Harshita Gupta 19th Dec, 2019

Hey,

Cutoff is the minimum marks required in any examination. It is similar to the passing marks that you need in school exams to qualify the examination. So, if you scored less than the cut-off then unfortunatel you aren't eligible to have admission this time.

For 2020 UGC NET, the application process will begin from 16 March 2020 and exam will be from 15-20 June 2020. So, try again.

Hope this helps!

pls help guys im a btech dropout and completed till my masters in english now i want to write ugc net qualifying exam so i got 2 year gap after inter due to my btech drop so will i face any problems in my teaching field pls pls help me out guys pls??

Parvathi Ramachandran 19th Dec, 2019

Greetings !!

There won't be any issues related to the gap period. Once you cleared NET, you may be enrolled as assistant professor in college . At the time of interview , you should be able to convince your panel by giving reasonable justification for your gap. What ultimately decides is that one's own passion towards the subject. If you are passionate in teaching , definitely you will excel in it. Wish You all the Best. If any doubts, pls feel free to ask.

Thank You !!
