NEET entrance exam is only for admission to courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS. No, you do not require to attempt the NEET exam in order to become a sonologist.

You need to score above 50% in Class 12 exams, with Biology, Chemistry and Physics as compulsory subjects. Sonography course is a 3 year or 4 year long course.

Following are sonography courses you can pursue after 12th-

2. Bsc Medical Lab Technology- 4 year long course offered by Galgotia University

Just after having done BSc Radiology, you aren't eligible to teach the courses in colleges. For that you need to acquire atleast a MSc and if possible a PhD in the subject, in order to be a teacher.

If you want to do a Masters program related to Ultrasonography, then you can't do Biomedical Engineering then the candidate who have done there graduation in Medical Imaging technology are eligibile for. So if you want you can apply for the UG courses but not for the Master program.
