Ranchi veterinary college is govt. college under Birsamunda agriculture university, but is not approved by vci since last few years ,so if I complete my degree from here will I be eligible for upsc or other central level jobs?

gopi 6th Jul, 2025

Hello Pragathi,

When completing your degree in veterinary from the Ranchi Veterinary College - Birsa Agricultural University, you will become eligible for UPSC and other jobs in the central level government, even if it doesn't receive recognition from the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) at this time.

However, if you want a job which requires a VCI recognized veterinary degree, you will need VCI recognition for jobs like Central government veterinary post and higher studies in some institutions. Therefore, even though no recognition from VCI does not change your overall eligibility to enter in services like UPSC or other civil services etc., you may find limited career choices in the veterinary field without formal recognition by the VCI.

Sri krishna college and cit chennai and coimbatore and anna university regional campus coimbatore and loyola icam and sadhak ithula ece course enaku kedaikuma

Prachi Kumari 10th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Getting ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) in the below colleges depends on your cutoff marks and reservation category . Here's a general idea:

  1. Sri Krishna College, Coimbatore – You may get ECE if your cutoff is around 170 or above (for OC). Easier for BC, MBC, SC/ST with lower cutoffs.

  2. CIT (Coimbatore Institute of Technology) – Very tough to get ECE here. Need a high cutoff above 190 (OC). Even for other categories, cutoff is high.

  3. Anna University Regional Campus, Coimbatore – You may get ECE if your cutoff is around 175+ (OC). Lower for BC, MBC, SC.

  4. Loyola ICAM College, Chennai – You can get ECE with a cutoff around 160–170 (OC). Easier for reserved categories.

  5. Sadhak College (if you meant Sadhakathullah Appa College or similar) – Easier chance. You can get ECE even with a low cutoff

So, If your cutoff is above 160 , you have a chance in most of these colleges, except CIT (needs very high marks). Cutoff needed is different for each category.

Hope it helps !

I have a doubt in cuet exam I scored 240.67/400 i wrote only biology and English can iget seat in central university of tamilnadu for bsc biotechnology

gopi 5th Jul, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Based on your CUET score of 240.67/400 in Biology and English, you have a fair chance, but it all depends on the cut off trend, category and number of applicants. Based on previous years, the cut off for general category has generally been around 250-280 marks. So if you fall under OBC/SC/ST you might have higher chances. Please keep in mind to follow the official counselling portal for exact cut offs.

sadafreen356 4th Jul, 2025

It's difficult to say definitively whether a score of 140 in Biology will guarantee admission to the BSc Forensic Science program at Vikram University, as admission criteria can vary. However, here's a breakdown of factors to consider:

Factors to consider:

Minimum Eligibility:

Vikram University typically requires a minimum of 50% in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.

Entrance Exams:

Some forensic science programs, including those at Vikram University, might have entrance exams or consider scores from exams like CUET.

You need to fill out the online application form on Vikram University's official website, vikramuniv.ac.in, and pay the application fee, which is approximately 500-1000. You'll also need to appear for an entrance exam.

Keep an eye on the university website for important dates, including the application start and last date which is 20th july as well as the entrance exam date. The course duration is 4 years, and the total tuition fee is 1,03,840, with 30 seats available.

Industry Connections:

GMRIT has strong connections with the industry, which can be beneficial for internships and job placements.

Campus Life:

Both colleges offer a vibrant campus life with various extracurricular activities, but GMRIT is known for its holistic approach to development.

Modern Facilities:
