Choosing one of them between UGC net & CSIR is mostly depends on your own . Because these days there are not much more difference between them. I can give you some information which can help you choosing one.

1.CSIR NET is especially designed for only those students

NTA UGC NET in 'SOCIOLOGY ' for Asst Professor and JRF both . You can write both based on your age and eligibility. I recommended 'sociology' books for NTA UGC NET as below,

Hi Pooja, hope you are doing well, the cutoff process solely depends on which category you fall. Let me tell you that the cutoff for unreserved(general) is 67.33. As you told you got 96 marks in total you are eligible for jrf and assistant professor. Please do try once again.
