The eligibility criteria for MA (ECONOMICS) IS -

B.A Part III Exam in the same subject in which admission is sought or the BA(Honours) Exam with the same subject in which admission is sought as the main subject or candidates must have studied Economics or Mathematics or Statistics

Probably there might be a discrepancy in your application. Either your application has not been submitted successfully or you might have done something wrong during the application process. If you have your registration ID then note it and contact the admission cell reporting them about your problem.

Yes, Allahabad University offers Btech course and that too in almost every field. You can even check on their official website about the courses. I would also suggest that you should keep yourself updated about the deadlines of the courses because they end differently for different programmes.

The undergraduate entrance exam of Allahabad University is called UGAT (Undergraduate Admission Test). The UET test you are talking about is the entrance test of Benaras Hindu university. 

Also Allahabad University does not offer an honours in BA, rather it provides a regular BA course with annual examination pattern.
