i have applied in du sol when I will get hard printed notes

piyush singh 28th Dec, 2021

Hello, I hope you are doing well

If you are talking about books then they used to be delivered at the address which you filled in your application form, but that was too much time consuming and still there was no guarantee that you will get the material for entire syllabus.

So, what you should do is wait for an SMS in which you will receive details about when and where you should go to collect your books. After that you have to go there with your DU SOL ID Card, Fee Slip and some other documents which will be mentioned in the SMS(even if not mentioned you must try to carry all of the documents which you uploaded while filling the application form). After the Document verification is done you will get your books.

Hope this helps.

No , PCB (Physics , Chemistry , Biology ) students can not take admission in Delhi University for BSc Physics Honors only PCM students are allowed for admission as you have to calculate your aggregate percentage and merit  with Physics , Chemistry and Maths .

sir/maam i have state obc certificate and my caste falls in the central list of obcs issued by govt. will it be accepted for admission in du or i need to get central obc certificate ? please help

Subhalaxmi Biswal 23rd Dec, 2021

Hello Harsh,

DU only accepts the OBC caste certificate issued by the central government. As your caste is included in the central list of OBCs you can apply for the central government OBC certificate.

In the meantime, you can inform the DU officials about it and ask for some time. You need to apply for the central OBC certificate as soon as possible.

I hope it helps

Thank you.

I am currently enrolled in bsc Hons chemistry in du. Can i do bsc hons biochemistry from Ignou distance) simultaneously in 2021? Will it be valid or legal??

Rituparna Priyadarshini 23rd Dec, 2021

Hello.

As you know it is not l gal to get bachelor's degree from two different institutions at the same time. Some people do enroll themselves into both the courses, but you cannot show anywhere that you have completed both the course simulataneously. Hence, it is not legal to carry on with both the courses from two different universities at the same time.

if i am not mistaken DU MBBS or Delhi Government Based MBBS used to have reservations for ST women from any part of the country. Can you enlighten us if such reservation still exist?

Tanishka Chaudhary 22nd Dec, 2021

Hello,

These days reservation for mbbs is given to all India St and sc candidates on same basis for central councelling or all India quota. There is no different quota available for Delhi students as they get admission through all India counseling quota. But different states also provide their government councelling for the colleges. There is no separate reservations for male and female in st and sc categories. For Delhi University you can also apply in Delhi University quota.

All colleges in different states have all India quota for the students of different states to apply in the college of their choice. I better request you to fill the all India quota councelling for the admissions and I believe you will do great in your field.

For any queries please mention it in comment box.

Thank you !
