i have received an email from delhi university that my application has been updated and documents and certificates are also verified but in the column of college remarks it has requested to provide original marksheet but i dont know where to submit the marksheet as there is no option in the form.

Ritisha Mittal 1st Dec, 2021

Greetings aspirant!

Delhi university changes application status once they verify all the documents. Since you are asked to provide your original marksheet, you can mail them the documents asked ( on the mail that told you about your application status). Mostly in such cases the college's administrative staff calls you and ask you to mail the documents on a given e-mail id. But since you have not received any such information, mail it to the official e-mail id of the college. Once verified, your application status will be changed by the college officials.

Once you're approved by the Principal, step to the payment process and complete it.

When will DU classes for first semester 2021 commence?

Ritisha Mittal 1st Dec, 2021

Greetings aspirant!

Delhi university admission process commenced on 1st October 2021 and ended on 16th November with declaration of it's last cut off. The institute declared the commencement of the classes for the undergraduates from 22nd November . The first semester, however began from 22.

You can get the academic calendar for first years on the official site of delhi university, i.e., du.ac.in . The university will observe preparatory break and practical examination from 11th March 2022 to 20th March 2022. Exams will be conducted from 21st March 2022 to 4th April 2022. And then the institute will observe semester break for two days, i.e., 5th and 6th April.

Delhi university colleges follow different timetables and schedules. Students are usually informed about the same via e-mail or whatsapp group. So stay super active on both the platforms.

i am a graduate from delhi university only with around 75 percentage after calculation i have given the entrance xeam also but i wanted to gor merit based list and ia ma not getting how to go for it and how to continue i am panicing very much my form no is 21COMM1039513

SRISHTY 1st Dec, 2021

Do not worry,

75 per cent number will have to wait for an entrance exam for MA, which I'm sure you can get through.

You have this year in hand study for the entrance of du pg.

And to count this year in your C. V do an internship (internshala is a portal) or learn a language for example Urdu or Korean.

All the best do well

On what basis can DU reject/decline my application? I secured admission in a college, but if in the next cutoff i want to apply to another college, is it a fail-proof fact that ill get in? If im certain my documents are legit and i pay the fees, is there any reason the 2nd college can reject me?

Ritisha Mittal 1st Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant!

Delhi university colleges may reject the applications in the following cases:-

> If your application does not meet the academic threshold.

> If the documents submitted by you are not legit. (Or the pictures aren't clear enough - in this case the college usually asks you to resend the pictures via e-mail or other source.)

> If the fees remains unpaid till the given deadline.

Delhi university releases many cut offs and it is common for students to change colleges as a new cut off list is out. Students just have to cancel their admission in the initial college, pay the required amount (Rs 1000 as of 2021) and apply in other college as per the new cut off. The chances of application's rejection is little. Though it may happen if the above mentioned criteria aren't fulfilled. On acceptance the application status changes to 'approved by principal', and the fees column shows a 'paid' remark.

In your case, since you say all your documents are legit and the fees is paid, the chances of your application getting rejected is minimal. Most probably your application will be accepted by the institute. Once the admission is cancelled for the initial college, you can't apply for it again in the next cut off. So make a wise choice.

Good luck!

Hey, i just wanted to ask if I am eligible for BMMMC course offered by IPCW DU as Ive scored 84 marks in english and the eligibility criteria states that they need 85% in english. Also I belong to OBC category, Will there be any relaxation on the percentage? Kindly clear my query asap.

divyajha1702 29th Nov, 2021

The status of available seats in the specified categories in BMMMC is that according to the last year vacant seats for OBC- category rank: 40 to 50(15 students). The BMMMC candidate must secure 50% marks in aggregate and if you are in OBC category then you have high chances of admission in the college. No need to worry. All the best.
