SARTHAK VERMA 13th Nov, 2021

Hi there!

University of Delhi will release the first merit list/ consolidated Rank list on its official website in the next week. Keep visiting the university website and stay up-to-date with the counseling process. You have to appear in the registration process, after that it can be cleared whether you could secure a seat or not.

Good luck.

Is it reasonable to go for NLUs (any top 5), than for DU Faculty of Law, since the former has an edge over placements? I have already done my graduation. And I will be giving CLAT at the age of 21

SARTHAK VERMA 13th Nov, 2021

Hi there!

I agree with your assumption. It is always preferred to go into NLUs if you're more into placements as the record trend of placements over there is much better than Law faculty in DU. However if you want to prepare for Judicial service like PCS J and others, then DU will provide a better grounding to you.

All the best.

What is the expected rise in cut-off due to online exams for admission in Msc Chemistry DU 2021 particularly for an EWS applicant. Last year the cut-off went till 78% in EWS category ?

ayanmukherjee045 11th Nov, 2021

Dear aspirant,

The cut offs varies a bit depending upon the certain factors like number of candidates appearing in the counselling, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

As far as the previous years cut offs is concerned the cut off should go a bit low in case of ews category. The university of Delhi has released the 5th round cut offs on 8th of November. The admissions for the 5th cut off will begin from 9th November and  will end on 10th of November.

A special drive cut off will be released on 13th of November.
