University of Delhi, Delhi
Hi there!
University of Delhi will release the first merit list/ consolidated Rank list on its official website in the next week. Keep visiting the university website and stay up-to-date with the counseling process. You have to appear in the registration process, after that it can be cleared whether you could secure a seat or not.
Good luck.
I agree with your assumption. It is always preferred to go into NLUs if you're more into placements as the record trend of placements over there is much better than Law faculty in DU. However if you want to prepare for Judicial service like PCS J and others, then DU will provide a better grounding to you.
All the best.

Dear aspirant,
The cut offs varies a bit depending upon the certain factors like number of candidates appearing in the counselling, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
As far as the previous years cut offs is concerned the cut off should go a bit low in case of ews category. The university of Delhi has released the 5th round cut offs on 8th of November. The admissions for the 5th cut off will begin from 9th November and will end on 10th of November.
A special drive cut off will be released on 13th of November.
