Various colleges which fall under the University of Delhi and are offering the undergraduate course in journalism, they have a different number of seats for the course. The total number of seats for different categories also varies.

If your serial number falls under the first 400 you might be called in the first round of admission to any of the three law campuses. Since the university has not released the list yet you will have to wait for the same.

If by overall rank you mean you place in the list given then you will have to check your serial number.

If your serial number falls under the first 400 of the list then there will be a chance of you being admitted at any of the law centres of DU in the first round itself.

DU will release a cutoff after the 5th only if there are vacant seats and this will depend on particular colleges. you will have to check the list of candidates who have been admitted for a particular course in a college wherein there will be a mention of

On the basis of only national certificate you can't take admission in any good college which allows only through exams. yes your certificate will get you extra benifits but you have to clear exam also.
