University of Delhi, Delhi
There's a chance your application form for Delhi University might be flagged for a minor inconsistency due to including "Mr." and "Mrs." before your parents' names. However, it likely won't lead to a complete rejection. This seems like a minor discrepancy compared to errors like incorrect names, dates, or qualifications. The key information is your parents' actual names. As long as those are correct, the titles (Mr./Mrs.) might be overlooked. https://www.careers360.com/university/university-of-delhi-delhi I hope it helps!
Hello there,
No, you cannot get into DU for any course without giving CUET ( Common university entrance test). According to NEP, admissions to central universities will be through CUET, but not on merit basis.
Hello Aspirant
Seeing as your marks are above the average score of a CUET aspirant, I believe you will easily be admitted to any top DU college like Hansraj, Hindu, Miranda (if you're a girl), etc. Your being from the OBC category gives another boost and makes it a sure thing, you'll definitely be accepted into DU. Your marks in 12th will act as a backing up fact which will help in your interviews (St Stephens conducts interviews for its students).
Top colleges in DU for BA Eco Hons-
Hansraj, Miranda, Ramjas, Kirorimal, Gargi, Delhi School of Economics., St Stephens, Hindu, etc.
Ensure that you fill out orientation/counseling forms for all these colleges.
Hope this helps.
