see upto 2020, delhi university has admission process for b.a, b.sc, b.com (//b.com) through 10+2 course. admission is based on 12th score in  best of four subject. however from this year du admission would be under CUCET, i.e central university common entrance test and score obtained in 10+2 course.

If you are referring to North eastern NITs then I would say prefer to go for Delhi University. The northeastern Nits are not that good in terms of placement and Msc being a academic degree requires a good space for further studies.
