admission into DU colleges for M.Sc. are done by DU PG exam (DUET) and merit lists are released subsequently. The exam is tougher than other PG entrance tests in India and even more so due to the competition (more number of candidates) , also, some M.Sc. branches like informatics

i from b. com (prog.) want to take admission in m. com du sol in merit list , is there any deduction in the total percentage of program students?

Hope you're doing well.

There is no deduction when you're taking admission in Mcom after b.com (programme). As, the eligibility criteria for DU SOL M.com is :

  • bcom hons in graduation with a minimum of 50 percent marks from DU or other recognized university.

For M.Phil and PhD Admission in Delhi University, National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted by  the Delhi University Entrance Exam (DUET) in 157 courses of M.Phil and PhD of 51 different departments in Delhi University (DU).

For the Session 2020, entrance exam is already over.
